How is data processed? Is it encrypted?
When a user logs into CLSI platforms, how is their data processed and transferred to the NetForum cloud? Is the data encrypted?
When a user logs through the single sign on (SSO), we contact netFORUM to authenticate their username and password. Upon successful authentication, we use the same API (Flashpoint) to retrieve the necessary attributes required for logging into Eclipse and Edaptive (commenting and editing) applications. These attributes are temporarily cached on the Identity Provider (IdP) for 15 seconds. Afterward, they are transmitted to Eclipse and Edaptive via a SAML response.
All communications are secured using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
